Mike Schwenk has more than 35 years of technical and management experience in government, non-profit, small business, and corporate settings. For most of that time, he has served in executive positions championing numerous efforts to move science into application. He has seen this process from all sides: within a laboratory, as an entrepreneur and investor, and as a community enabler. Currently, Mike serves as an executive advisor and coach to leaders around the state.
Mike has managed commercialization and economic development activities and remains highly engaged in numerous regional and national efforts dedicated to improving innovation, from federal policy to the day-to-day nuts-and-bolts. For his many years of public service, Mike was named Tri-Citian of the Year in 2008 by his community.
